The Department of Tourism (DOT) welcomed the expansion of international flight routes connecting the Philippines to key cities in Asia and the Middle East, further strengthening the country’s global tourism connectivity.

New and resumed flights now provide improved access to destinations such as Manila, Cebu, Clark, and Davao, making travel more convenient for foreign visitors and overseas Filipinos.

The expanded air connectivity is expected to support tourism growth by reducing travel time and increasing seat availability, especially during peak travel seasons.

Tourism officials noted that enhanced flight access also benefits local economies by encouraging longer stays and increased visitor spending in nearby provinces.

The DOT continues to work closely with airline partners and airport authorities to support route development and promote sustainable tourism growth.
